So this is it. This is the portfolio. Each piece will have a short description that lets you know why it’s here, what it’s about, and what I like about it. This is a placeholder page that will eventually link to The One True Page once I can get a handle on the code.
Merry Readings!

The Talented Mr. Ripley’s Believe-It-Or-Not: Murder!
I wrote this piece for my ENGL202P1: Writing Critical Reviews class during the Fall2021 semester. This piece works well as an example of my writing style. It is a review of the Film Adaptation of the Patricia Highsmith’s book The Talented Mr. Ripley. I am fond of the humor and my description of the boat murder. I am always a sucker for fictional boat murder.
1418 Franklin Street Narrative and Bibliography
I wrote this piece for my HISP205: Documentation and Fieldwork class during the Fall2021 semester. This piece is an example of my skills in research. It is a historical context research paper written about a house on Franklin Street in Fredericksburg. The writing is dry and technical, but it’s a showcase on my ability to research residential streets in small Virginia cities.
